Swim Spermies, Swim
It has been a very long time since I have last posted. I have completely neglected my blog, but not yours. I have been religiously reading all of your wonderful blogs, but not commenting often. I am not sure why, I just have not been in a writing mood lately. So much has transpired over the past two or three months, I am not sure how long ago my last post was, that I feel overwhelmed in where to even start. My life feels full and wonderful right now, so I guess as is well. I will later write posts about the numerous changes in our lives…..here is a list of posts I need to write about, look for them in the near future.
- buying a house
- becoming landlords
- our tenants
- dogs…now dog
- basement flooding
- thyroid
- alcohol
- grandparents
Right now, I what I would like to discuss is the exciting news that tomorrow Violet will have an IUI performed on her. It is so exhilarating to be back in this place again after taking off many months. I feel like it is a year ago and our first attempt at pregnancy. This cycle we have switched to a very fancy fertility clinic in Cincinnati, used Femara instead of Clomid, a new donor, and ordered an ICI sample that will be washed at the clinic. We will get some good info about the sperm from their lab. I am thrilled! Even though I would like to write so much more, I am going to ease back into blogging….actually it is late and I have to get up terribly early for our trip to the fancy smancy clinic. Please keep us in your thoughts tomorrow morning as we attempt the ever so elusive lesbian pregnancy. As my sister said earlier to me “swim spermies, swim!”; maybe that will be my mantra tomorrow.
It felt good to write, even if it was just a little bit!
